If you use Interseller, you have until 15 December 2026. Its homepage says: "Interseller will be sunset on December 15 2026. Please transition any remaining work before that date. Greenhouse customers using Sourcing Automation will not be affected."
Interseller's July 2026 update adds the details. New subscriptions and extra seats are closed. Active accounts keep working until 14 December. On 15 December any account still open is closed and all data is permanently deleted, and it can't be recovered afterwards.
So there are two jobs before then: get your data out, and pick what replaces Interseller. This list is for recruiters, agency and in-house, who used Interseller to hire engineers.
Before you pick: export in the right order
These steps come from Interseller's own help centre, opened on 27 October 2026.
- Export your contacts. Select your sequences and choose Export Contacts to CSV. The file has names, emails, verification status, contact status, social data and custom fields.
- Export your sequence steps. In Export Settings, Export Sequence Steps downloads every step's subject and body as one CSV. Archived sequences are left out, so restore the ones you want first.
- Export your bounced and unsubscribed contacts. An owner or manager can download both from Data Settings, Exports. Load the unsubscribed list into your next tool's blocklist before you send anything. People who asked you to stop emailing them haven't changed their minds because you changed tools.
- Only then cancel. Interseller warns that cancelling ends your access to the data at once. Open your files and check them before you close the account in Settings, Billing & Subscription.
What Interseller did, and what replaces it
Interseller did three jobs in one tool:
- Find people and their emails. Its Chrome extension worked on LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Recruiter, Wellfound, Crunchbase, GitHub and Indeed, and found a work or personal email in one click.
- Send sequences. Automated, personalised email steps from your own inbox.
- Sync to your ATS or CRM. Native integrations, plus Zapier.
Most of the tools below do the first two jobs. For engineering roles, the first job hides a harder question: an email address tells you how to reach someone, not whether they can do the work.
The short version
- Greenhouse Sourcing Automation: best if you already run Greenhouse. Interseller says it isn't affected.
- AyHire: best for knowing which engineers are good from what they've shipped, with the evidence linked. No sequences.
- Juicebox: best for search and email outreach on a published self-serve price.
- SeekOut: best for a documented GitHub coder rating, with outreach in the same tool.
- Pin: best for a free plan and cheap self-serve sequences.
- hireEZ: best for a full platform at volume, with email, SMS and InMail.

1. Greenhouse Sourcing Automation, if you already run Greenhouse
Interseller's help centre names Greenhouse as its parent company, and its homepage says Greenhouse customers using Sourcing Automation will not be affected. Greenhouse's article on its Chrome extension for Sourcing Automation (updated 26 May 2026) says the extension adds prospects to your Greenhouse CRM from AngelList, GitHub, Indeed and LinkedIn, where you upload the LinkedIn profile as a PDF. It finds email addresses with lookup credits, and it can put people into campaign pools that send automated emails on a schedule, next to InMail and manual tasks.
Best for: in-house teams on Greenhouse who want sourcing and sequences inside their ATS.
Pricing: no public price. The article says it needs a Sourcing Automation seat and is available on Greenhouse's Core, Plus and Pro tiers, so ask your Greenhouse contact.
Cons: if you don't run Greenhouse Recruiting, it isn't an option on its own.
2. AyHire, for knowing which engineers are good
AyHire is our product, so read this entry with that in mind. It replaces one of Interseller's three jobs, finding the people, and adds the part Interseller didn't do: judging them. You describe the role in a sentence or paste the JD. AyHire plans the searches and shows them before they run, finds the engineers who wrote matching public code where the role is, and judges the top few against your criteria from their commits, pull requests and READMEs, with a link behind every claim.
What you get is a call on each person: talk to them first or not, one line of why, and one thing to check. How AyHire decides explains the rules. For contact details, it shows who is open to work, their LinkedIn and their email, each with its source and how sure it is.
Key features
- Criteria per role (Must have, Important, Nice to have), each judged from public work with links.
- A role in one city stays in that city: people from other cities don't fill your list.
- Shortlisted people go to Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Teamtailor, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, Pinpoint, Breezy HR, Recruit CRM, Loxo or Manatal, or to any other tool through a webhook for Zapier, Make or n8n.
- For roles that are mostly not code, the web app's role search also looks on LinkedIn and lists those people apart.
Pricing
- 14-day free trial, no card needed.
- $99 a month for one person, or Team at $79 a person a month for 2 or more. Yearly billing gives 2 months free. See plans and pricing.
Pros
- Every claim about a person links to the work behind it, so you can check it before you write to them.
- ATS push is on both plans, including the agency ATSs Recruit CRM, Loxo and Manatal.
Cons
- No sequences and no Chrome extension. AyHire never contacts anyone for you: you send the intro from your own inbox or your outreach tool. If sequences were why you bought Interseller, pair AyHire with one of the tools below.
- It reads public work only, so it's weak for roles whose work is rarely public, such as low-latency C++ for trading firms.
3. Juicebox, for search and outreach on a self-serve price
Juicebox is a people search tool with email outreach and AI templates from its Starter plan. Its PeopleGPT page lists "activity signals from GitHub" among the signals it uses.
Pricing: a free plan with limited searches and 5 one-off contact credits; Starter $99 a seat a month billed yearly, or $119 monthly; Growth $179 a seat a month billed yearly; Business custom, annual only.
Cons: ATS and CRM integrations, including Greenhouse and Lever, are ticked only on Business. See Juicebox alternatives for the tools teams compare it with.
4. SeekOut, for a GitHub coder rating with outreach
SeekOut is a sourcing platform whose help centre describes a Coder Score of one to five stars for each GitHub member, overall and per language. Its entry plan includes email integration with sending on your behalf and AI multi-step campaigns.
Pricing: Sourcing Core is $149 a month billed yearly ($1,788 a year) or $179 monthly, with 3 seats and 500 contact credits a month. 14 days free, no card. Other plans are custom.
Cons: Core exports to your ATS; the full ATS integration starts on the custom Sourcing + Integration plan.
5. Pin, for a free plan and cheap sequences
Pin is a self-serve AI sourcing tool with sequences on every plan, email-only on Free.
Pricing: Free gives 5 contact lookups a week and 3 searches a day; Solo is $100 a user a month, billed yearly only, with 500 lookups a month and multi-channel sequences; Professional is $135 a user a month billed yearly; Enterprise is custom.
Cons: ATS integration is an add-on on Solo and Professional, and included only on Enterprise. Its pricing page doesn't mention GitHub.
6. hireEZ, for a full platform at volume
hireEZ searches the open web and partner networks across 45+ platforms, with email, SMS and InMail sequencing and 40+ native ATS integrations. Its blog (15 July 2024) describes GitHub sourcing filters and a Chrome extension that works on GitHub profiles.
Pricing: solo recruiters start at $494 a month, with a 7-day free trial. Enterprise pricing is set by the tools it replaces.
Cons: the highest published entry price here. Its GitHub sourcing is a filter, so you still read the code yourself.
How to choose
- You run Greenhouse Recruiting: start with Sourcing Automation, since Interseller says it isn't affected.
- You need sequences like Interseller's: Juicebox, SeekOut and hireEZ send them, and Pin has them on a free plan.
- Your hard part is knowing which engineers are good: AyHire judges each person from their shipped work, and SeekOut rates GitHub members. Pair AyHire with your outreach tool.
- You're an agency on Recruit CRM, Loxo or Manatal: AyHire sends shortlisted people there on both plans. For the others, check their integration lists for your ATS.
- Doing it by hand first: our guide to finding engineers on GitHub shows the method.
Questions people ask
When does Interseller shut down?
On 15 December 2026. Active subscriptions keep full access until 14 December. Accounts still open on 15 December are closed automatically and their data is deleted.
Can I get my Interseller data back after 15 December?
No. Interseller says all data is permanently purged when the platform closes and can't be retrieved. Export contacts, sequence steps and your bounced and unsubscribed lists before then.
Can I still sign up for Interseller or add seats?
No. Its July 2026 update says new subscriptions and extra seats were removed.
Is Greenhouse Sourcing Automation affected?
No. Interseller's homepage says Greenhouse customers using Sourcing Automation will not be affected.
What is the best Interseller alternative for technical recruiting?
It depends on which of Interseller's jobs you need. For sequences, Juicebox, Pin, SeekOut and hireEZ all send them. For deciding which engineers to talk to from their actual work, AyHire reads the repos and judges each person against your role, and SeekOut gives each GitHub member a Coder Score.
Can I email engineers I find on GitHub?
Carefully. GitHub's Acceptable Use Policies bar using information from GitHub for spamming, including sending unsolicited emails to users. Write to a few people about a real role, one at a time, and never send bulk messages.
