Draft, not yet in force. AY Automate's legal details are still to be added, and the text needs a legal review before AyHire launches.
Terms of Use
Effective [date]
These terms are between you and [company name] (“we”), which runs AyHire. By using the website, the API or the MCP server, you agree to them.
Your account and keys
- You sign in with an email link or with GitHub. Keep access to that email or GitHub account secure.
- API keys are shown once. Keep them secret: anything done with your key counts as done by you. You can have up to 10 active keys and revoke any of them at your keys page.
Fair use
AyHire limits how much one account can do, for example 20 analyses an hour. Do not try to get around these limits, and do not:
- copy AyHire's data in bulk, resell it, or use it to build a competing database;
- send unwanted bulk messages to the developers you find, or keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop;
- use AyHire to harass anyone, or to treat people unfairly because of who they are rather than what they have built;
- break the law, including data protection and anti-spam law, when you use what AyHire tells you.
What the scores are, and are not
Scores, summaries and availability verdicts are estimates made automatically from public work. They can be wrong or out of date, and a fact matched only by name and company is marked as a guess. Use them to decide who to look at more closely, not as the only basis for a hiring decision.
Paying
AyHire does not charge you today. If we add paid plans, we will tell you what they cost before anything is charged.
Changes and stopping
AyHire is new and will change. We may change or stop features, and we may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using AyHire at any time, and ask us to delete your account.
No guarantees
AyHire is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made using it or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law does not let us limit.
The law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of [governing law]. Questions go to [contact email]. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
