# For engineers: see your own AyHire profile

> Enter a GitHub username at https://ayhire.com/engineer (or open https://ayhire.com/engineer?u=USERNAME) to see the profile a hiring manager would see: three plain questions (can they build it, do they actually ship, can you hire them) answered from the public work, the six scores behind them with what each one measures, what to check, and what would move each score. Checking a profile needs an AyHire account. Availability is not checked there; it is checked only when a hiring manager adds the person to a role.

## What moves the scores

- Shipping reads how often and how recently you push to public repos.
- Communication reads whether your READMEs say what a repo does and how to run it, and whether your commit messages say what changed.
- Technical depth reads how substantial your own projects are and how widely they are used.
- Stack match weighs TypeScript, Python, Rust and Go and the frameworks around them, including the topics on your repos.
- A low hidden-gem score only means people already know your work.
